Why not sell it to your fellow Chevy enthusiasts for what the scrap yard would give you? That way the pieces live on in another Chevy instead of being shipped to China and coming back as some low quality piece of junk.

I'm the guy doing the 3.55 gear ratio conversion in a '36 Chevy pickup. The guy who had the '51 Chevy rear end that donated the 3.55 gears sold it to me for $120 delivered to my doorstep. He was glad to get rid of it and I was glad to get it. That's what that stuff is actually worth.

I really dont think im asking too much asking 2,000 for everything except the body..This was a garage kept car its whole life in great condition. I put it on here hoping someone would need it, but if not o well I tried.

It is your car and you should be the one to set the price. I bought a 1951 BelAire HT complete original not running but an easy start up after sitting in a fenced yard for $1500, and several of my friends thought I paid twice what it is worth. Maybe you should post some photos showing the pristine condition. If you have no immediate need to sell it, maybe you could wait for some spring swapmeets and try that, of course there is always eBay....
