My 1933 Sedan Delivery has a "riser" between the cyl head and the water outlet to the radiator. Is this the correct configuration for this model? The car has the 'comercial' engine. Also, what the correct name for this item? Thanks for looking. Ed Frey

Thermostat block, thermostat spacer, used to provide space needed for a thermostat, some had a fitting for the heater hose.

The thermostat spacer did not come as standard equipment from the factory.

my 30 had that housing too. the bellow type t-stat was still there when i got my car.
