I am having my fenders and other parts sand blasted next week. They will steam clean the parts and then blast them using aluminum oxide . Or the other way around. They asked if I wanted the fenders and other parts powder coated. I didn't know that they powder coated fenders. There was a couple of motorcycle fenders that they had done and they looked great. Any Thought on having this done ?

agman3,
Powder coating can be a great and cost effective means to produce a slick, shiny surface as long as the item being coated is relatively smooth. The powder coating is tougher than most other coatings. The problem is if you ever want to touch up a boo-boo. It is also tough to remove. Would I powder coat fenders on a driver vehicle? Maybe!
