Bobkra Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 12/28/09 Posts: 41 Loc: NC,USA	Does anyone know the torque for the cylinder head ?. My manual just says tighten in a certain order. Also., I want to verify that + and - on the coil.Which one goes to the distributor and which one goes to the ignition switch? Bobkra

AntiqueMechanic Registered: 12/02/01 Posts: 6065 Loc: Vancouver, WA	If you are using old head-bolts, I suggest 50 lbs. If you purchase and use new head-bolts you can go to 60-65 lbs. The + post on the coil goes to the ignition switch, the - post goes to the distributor. franco Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 01/15/08 Posts: 34 Loc: Queensland, Australia	Note if you do happen to be buying new head bolts that they are 1/2 inch x 12 threads per inch rather than the now more common (in the US) 1/2 inch x 13 TPI. Frank
