Thanks

The headerboard for my '31 Coach is required to be 2&3/4" wide to fit flush with underside of windshield header, while clearing wiper control and allowing bolt up to header panel clips. I bought what was advertized as a '30 unit over eBay, and it was about 3&1/4" wide, so could not be used until I trimmed about 1/2" off its width. Length was OK. This also meant re-drilling about 4 of the hardware mounting holes and trimming a small amount off of the steel mounting plates, and readjusting the mounting holes of each end. Modified board works just great, and hardware is identical. So, there are some differences there. For 32, I understand the crank is located in the center rather than to the left of center as for 29-31, and someone indicated it was set up to allow 2 wipers. Hope this helps..

Gunsmoke...Thank you for sharing the information. This sounds doable. A couple of small modifications shouldn't be too difficult.

Buggymangp...May I contact you by telephone or send a pm to provide reimbersement for any cost...shipping, etc?

Thank you for the support. As always VCCA is the best!

1929 & 30 are the same. 1931 is different.
The gears are different for the two types also.

I am curious what the difference is in the gears. I realize the header board is narrower for '31, and the steel mounting plates are slightly narrower for '31, and as a result the mounting screw/nut locations are slightly different. However it appears to me the gears themselves (i.e. the 5 toothed pieces, spacing housings and shaft lengths)are the same. What do you think?

Actually, I should have said that the 2 large gears that lift the windshield are different. The rest of the gears and the gearbox are the same.
The lifting pin on the large gears is closer to the center so as to not raise the w/s as far.
