Hi, everyone
I purchased an interior and seat kit from Hampton coach for my 1927 Chevy 4 door and was wondering if anyone could offer some advice installing. It would be nice if someone could forward some pictures of their interior as a guide.
Likewise I will try and help others in a similar situation.
Thanks

Aldo, Hampton Coach instructions are notoriously brief and uninformative. If you go to their website ( www.lebaronbonney.com), they now have a couple youtube videos that are helpful for doing seats and side panels. Good luck! Jim

In June I just finished installing a Hamilton interior in my 29. If you look farther down this category you will see what people had to say .. Hamilton Interior OMG (I think is the title hundreds of reads and many many replys). We were able to figure ours out, but it took time. I have a bunch of pictures and a vivid memory. Whatever I can do to help I will. Email or call (pictures are large so I can send only a few at a time). Ed Hatzenbuhler 4072 Quiet Hills Ct. Norco, Ca 92860 951-734-3857 edhatzenbuhler sbcglobal

Thank you.... I'll look in my G&D....
Have rusty spring seats wiht no cloth on them and can't tell which way they go. They have a wider seat top or bottom. Which is topside? The wider side?

How do you "Search" for Hamilton on this web site? I tried and come up with nothing... I'll keep looking because am planning on doing the interior and seats of our 29 4 door.

My 1927 Landau Sedan has the original upholstery. It still looks good except for wear in spots. You are welcome to come look at it in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, a Long drive from Wisconsin. Also, I can email photos, let know the views you need to see.

Hampton Coach used to be Hampton Coach, a supplier of interiors for GM restorations. Lebarron Bonney was a Model "A" F0RD interior supplier. When Lebarron Bonney bought out Hampton Coach, things went even further downhill, in my opinion. I would get the photos from Cordman and see if a local restorer could find some fabric close to original and do you a nice job, even Lebarron don't have the exact match for fabric for 27 and 28, it is just close.

Thank you Cordman....
Any interior photo would be great. Thnaks for the offer.
I don't know of any other upholstery place except LeBaraon/Hampton so I guess we'll have to go with them.

wider is on top. Be sure to do something about the rusty metal before you start any upholstery project using the frames you are describing. Probably something like POR 15 or any similar rust sealer will do the trick

Thanks for the suggestion... I got some "Rust Converter" from Plasti-kote and it worked amazingly well. Then sprayed the frames with black enamal.
