young_gun Grease Monkey Registered: 02/05/10 Posts: 4 Loc: Turlock California	Hi I am restoring a 27 chevy coach. I am currantly working on the engine transmission and rear end...can anyone tell me the correct color for the transmission and clutch housing...is it black or are they painted the same green/grey as the engine block?? p.s. not shur if this is the right spot for this subject???

Chipper Registered: 11/22/01 Posts: 10233 Loc: The Great State of TEXAS	It might be better in the 1912-1928 forum. The 1927 Chevy clutch housing is green like the engine. Transmission is black as is the rear end and other chassis parts. _________________________ How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
