Greetings fellow chevy enthusiasts! I'm restoring a 57 BelAir convertible and am looking for unusual, less common accessories for my completed car. The car has a 283 4bbl carb., and I've found a 3speed overdrive transmission, but need cables, linkage, carb switch for the original Carter carb, and handle and bracket.It's going to be Tropical Turquiose, haven't got an interior,windows and on and on; I'm open for any and all advice.Is there a clearing site where insurance salvage 57's show-up? A friend gave me photos of a gorgeous 57 4dr hardtop, black, that was totaled by the insc. co. and sold salvage for $6,500 I have no idea how to look for this info.
