swk1 Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 11/30/01 Posts: 36 Loc: Lebanon, Oregon	Steve from The Filling Station here with some very sad news for the Chevy restoration community. Jim Mc Conville, the manufacturer of top quality running board mats and floor mats for early Chevs, has passed away. He died of an apparent heart attack. For thirty years or more, Jim made fine quality reproductions to help us restore our old Chevys. Many of you might not know of him because he sold most of his mats through dealers like me. He was a long time VCCA member and all around nice guy. Always concerned about quality, he made some of the nicest reproductions to be found anywhere. Those of us that knew him will certainly miss him. Those of us that have restored an old Chevy with his rubber mats, owe him a big debt of gratitude. He leaves a big void in our hobby.

He had high quality stuff and he was an all around great guy too!!
