I have asked this question before but still haven't solved the mystery. I have 5 wire wheels that had 34 Master hub caps on them when I got them. They have a 7-3/4 hole in them for those. But they are not 17" wheels like are on my 34-35 Masters. Those measure about 18-1/2" across, these measure 20-1/2" which tells me they are 19" wheels. But Chevrolet did not have 19" Master wheels only 19" Standard wheels. So does any one know if these are some other GM wheels?. Or may Chevrolet wheels that they don't show in Parts books.

Jon T
How many lug holes are there ?
That may help us determine what these wheels are supposed to fit.

Sorry Jon T I was out of town a few days. I have my book in front of me to ID the wheels. Unfortunately I will need the Bolt Circle of the lug holes to ID the wheels. There are several possibilities for a 6 lug wire wheel. One of them could be Pontiac. Are the wires welded or screw connected to the hub and or rim? I'll keep this book handy to reply quickly.

According to my Hollander's interchange book it is likely that these are for a 1931 Pontiac 6 cyl. There are notes that indicate with some slight modification may fit 1933 Pontiac 8 cyl, 1934 1935 1936 Pontiac 6 & 8 cyl. Pontiac is the only whell listed besides Chevrolet with a 5-1/2 bolt and 6 lug wire wheel. With the screw on spokes this is not a Chevrolet wheel. Hope that helps.

This helps me alot that they are Pontiac wheels. I know they are not 31- or 32 Chevrolet wheels because the opening is for a 34 Hub cap. Would the opening also be right for a Pontiac? jet
