I bought a 1931 accessory mirror clock. Does anyone have a name of a clock repair shop that would be able to restore this. I didn't see any names in the technical area or services offered area in the G&D Thanks

The correct genuine Chevrolet accessory mirror clock for 1931 has a Chevrolet bow tie on the face along with "Phinney Walker". At any rate, any good local clock and watch repair shop should be able to get your mirror clock going again.
Yes I believe this is the genuine accessory. Below the 12 it reads Phinney walker 1 day and above the 6 it has the Chevrolet bow tie. It looks like the one in the accessories booklet. I called a local shop and they said I needed a specialty shop to work on the car clock. But I will keep calling around for a local place. Thanks

Yep, that's it! Good going!
On the shop you called....they probably don't want to do the job, or they are not qualified, since most quality clock shops will work on a clock of that type since it is basically like a really big wrist watch.
Anyway, check around and find a clock maker that knows what he is doing. You can also check online. I know our local clock shop will repair anything, including car clocks and extremely valuable antique clocks as well.
