stevt1979 Grease Monkey Registered: 06/10/09 Posts: 1 Loc: Mass	I have an old chevy frame with engine block and tranny. the only numbers I can find are on the block it looks like: c or o oonv-3 under that 98550 under that d22 0 and a 12 under it all. on the tranny is 59031 and d24 with a 0. any info would be a great help

Check closely to see if the number on the engine might be 835501 The D 22 0 would be April 22 1930 casting date. and the transmission 590391? if so then the D 24 0 would be April 24, 1930 casting date. _________________________ How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
