I just learned the date of the 2009 Albaugh Charity car show,August 9th. Either bring your car or come as a spectator and view the Albaugh Chevrolet car and truck collection. Over 130 Chevrolet classics and musclecars highlighted by a Chevrolet convertible from every year starting in 1912 with a Little and ending in 1975. Corvette convertibles from 1953 to 1975 also. Last year over 200 vehicles outside on the golf course, this year we are hoping for 500 or more.
I will update with more info. as I get it. Located in Ankeny Iowa.

I was there Saturday as a spectator. Fantastic collection of Chevrolet's. Most in perfect condition. They were in numerical order. 1912 (1912 was a Little) thru 1975 in the full size Chevrolet's. Corvette's, Camaro's and Chevelle's were in numerical order. This has to be the absolute best CHEVROLET collection. The only disappointment was that the 1926 has a 1927 radiator shell and it fit poorly.

The outside car show had the cars lined up on the golf course fairways. One long fairway was filled with Corvette's only. They probably used 4 fairways for all the cars.
.
I put the address in my GPS and it delivered me to a cornfield 4 miles south of the event. That was the only information I took with me. Fortunately, we stopped and asked and a young man and he gave us clear directions to drive 4 more miles north.

I had the opportunity to visit the collection a few months ago. It is indeed a premier collection that started with the grandfathers old Chevy truck and not that many years ago.

Andy, the collection do everything, is working on getting the cars as correct as possible. He is learning about the old Chevys at a fast pace and appreciates help to get things right. He frequents ChatII to ask questions and also provide answers. He is quickly becoming a major VCCA asset. And to top that he is one great individual too.

And I do have the correct radiator shell. Needs to be detailed then it will be installed on the 26. Also planning to repaint the 27 and 28 to original colors this winter, as well as repaint the 39 convertible. Going to be a busy winter for me. Thanks for attending the show. 440 show cars on the golf course and 4100 plus spectators.Raised between 60 and 65 thousand for the local high school. Andy.
