123 Grease Monkey Registered: 02/07/09 Posts: 16 Loc: new jersey	On the bottom of the shifter shaft bracket which is mounted on the steering column, what goes in there; a bushing or a bearing to keep the shaft in alignment?

Chev Nut Registered: 01/08/02 Posts: 14893 Loc: West Allis,Wi.	There is a bushing in the stamped support that is attached to the column. Its part # 3693802, fits 1950-1954. is 1" o.d. 19/32" long. _________________________ Chevgene
