Can someone help me on the pivot ball stud adjustment. There is a nut on the outside of the bell housing and then another ball
stud nut on the inside of the bell housing. Appears it could be an adjustment for the fork but then the nut on the outside of the bell housing would nut be tight. What is the adjustment procedure and is it suppose to be tight on the bellhousing side?

Loosen the outside nut and move it almost to the off position. Now use the inside nut(?) and adjust the height for proper clutch operation. Now screw the outside nut all the way down and tighten it. Job done.

When you screw the outside nut down tight do you hold the inside ball stud and if so what keeps the inside ball stud tight if the two aren't tighten together? With the two tighten together and the outside nut tight you can see ball stud threaeds from inside the bell housing. If I need to extend the ball stud out or towards the clutch it will not be tight and can turn.

You have the right idea. Once the stud is at the correct height hold it while tightening the lock nut.
