Are the fuel lines steel or copper on the 1932 Chevy cars?
Thanks
Jay

Originally tinned steel but 90+% today have copper lines on them.

One more question, Was the line running from the fuel pump to the tank one peice or did they have a joint on the engine side of the line for removal of the engine?
Thanks
Jay

The fuel line from the gas tank to the fuel pump was all one piece.

Edit Reason: Too many brewski's. I changed "once" to "one". :-)

You can purchase the correct steel line already made in the correct configuration from the Filling Station in Lebanon, Oregon.

Thanks for the picture offer, I can use this to check my work. I have already purchased and spent two days running the steel fuel line for my dads car. I have several pictures from the web and two cars that I can trace the clips for the path. I think I did a good job of coming close to original. Your pictures will tell me a lot. Thanks Dog for the filling station information on fuel lines. I want to do some of this stuff the hard way, otherwise it would be like buying a restored car. I Must be CRAZY!
Thanks
Jay
