You have your electrolock installed on your distributor incorrectly. Check the previous detailed posting concerning same on this site. Also, for your distributor to work the breaker point arm must be installed as well.

You are not correct on the wiring. The hot wire goes from the starter switch to the back of the amp meter, positive side. Another wire goes from the negative side of the amp meter to the "Batt" terminal on the electrolock. From the "Coil Gauge" terminal on the electrolock a wire goes to the positive terminal on the ignition coil. From the negative terminal on the ignition coil another wire goes back to the "Coil" terminal on the electrolock.
