That's the serial number for a 1932 engine.

At first I thought it was a Confederate and then I saw the term "deluxe". I can't find numbers or tags. But it's pretty and runs like a champ.

It appears that you have a 1932 Special Sedan, and the series for that year is "Confederate".

Thanks jd I've looked all up and down the right sill and can't find a tag. Frustrating to say the least. Do you know of anywhere else the little bugger could be hiding? There is a nice Body by Ffisher tag behind the rught sidemount. for whatever that;s worth. Bill

The serial number plate is attached to the right wood main sill inside by the passenger side front door under the floor mat. It is nailed to the main sill just a few inches in front of the seat.

Also, the Fisher Body plate is riveted to the face of the cowl under the hood. That plate gives the Job Number, Body Number, Trim Number and Paint Number.
