I have an AM radio mounted as you state in other posts, under the dash to the left of the wheel. It has a plastic face w/Coronado along the top. The face is thin w/a thick body that runs almost to the firewall, w/integral speaker. It is color matched to the dash. Is this correct to the truck?

thanks.Chevradioman

Perhaps I don't understand the radio you describe. Anyways, here are some pictures with descriptions.

1946 TRUCK WITH PROPER RADIO.

Once you have located the designated string, scroll down to entry 90104.

The radio shown, can be installed on the left side of the steering column also.

You can spend considerable time in viewing the designated thread. In fact there are several strings that still have all the pictures that are interesting reading and are located in the TECH TALK topic.

If I had known that growing old would be this much fun---I'd have done it sooner!
