Does anyone know of a machine shop not too far from southwest Virginia (specifically Galax, VA 24333)that would be good to do line boring for the mains on a 36?

Or, how well does it work to convert the mains to modern insert bearings? Does anyone know of machinists who do this?

I have a NOS crank that is standard size.

Also, I posted the following ad in the Wanted section, so hope it is ok to repeat it here as well:

WTB the front and rear precision main bearings, standard size, for a 36. They are the same for 32-36.

Front bearing: group number 0.096; part number 3847394
Rear bearing: group number 0.106; part number 3847396

I have the middle bearing, but if someone has a set and wants to sell it complete, I will consider that as well.

I can me emailed directly at jrudyaavhcc.edu or chev1936aagmailcm

Thanks!
