curious about removing the upholstery of the rear seat, install new padding and burlap and putting original upholstery back on? I found that a mouse or many had gotten into the rear seat and ate thru the burlap and made a big mess. would like to take upholstery off, clean seat springs and frame, paint and then put everything back together. looking for advise. the car has always been stored inside and the seats look good and are original so I hate to install new material and then not have it match the front seat and the door panels.

That should be no problem. You can buy some new padding at an auto trim shop, and get some hog rings from them also. I don't see them using burlap anymore. I have a big box of cotton padding here, got it from Hampton Coach. Came with the interior for my '34 - about 30 years ago. Just use enough of it as it compresses.
