Hellow to all; I own a, 1937 4dr master deluxe sport sedan. The problem im haveing with my front seat cushion, is that it keeps wanting to slide forward, while im going down the road. I have had the seat cushion out many times, and have noticed two wire loops, one at either of the spring frame. They both, slide into a slot, in the rear of the wooden seat frame. But I don't see any other way for it to fasten to the frame it'self. I've held it in, with two wood screws, and fender washers for now. Would appreciate, any help on this.

Joe,
If you send me your email address I will send you the picture of the seat adjusting mechanism from the parts book. Perhaps it will provide a clue that will help to solve your problem.

Gene;
Thank's much for sending me the pictures of the seat, from the parts manuel. There must have been a piece of metal, or something, across the lower front of the wooden seat frame, that held back the seat cushion. Because, there's small wood screw's spaced about 3" apart, along the lower front edge of the wood frame. Maybe another member know's what went there.

If RichK sees this I am sure that he can help.
Haven't seen him here for sometime. He may be out of town.

Hellow to all;
I need a little help, from our 37 owners out there please. I have been trying to find out what go,s on, the lower front part of the front seat frame, to hold back the seat cushon. Chevy Gene, was kind enough, to e-mail me what was in the part,s manuel but, it did'nt show the front part of the seat. So is there a piece of metal, or wood, or nothing, holding the cushon in place? Would appreciate any help here.

Hi Gene;
Rich got back to me on this matter of the, sliding seat cushion. Turn's out he has the same problem with his! So if any one out there, with a 37 that has a front bench seat, sure would like to hear from you, as to what you have holding in your lower front seat cushion. This is a GREAT CLUB with a wealth of INFORMATION!! AM I RIGHT????
