I have been reading and hearing that our antique cars need zink in them, because modern oil does not have it and this could mess up our cars. I could use advise and suggestions on the type of oil, brands, etc I need for my 29 coupe to begin touring.

Interesting. Thanks. I have heard from my Studebaker club that we better use zink or be in trouble???What weight of oil is good for my 29? I have used 30 weight.

My stude is a 61 Lark six cylinder. Probably zink would not be a problem here.???

My 61 engine is pretty solid. With Over head valves sometimes the heads cracked when overheated. But thats not oil.
