For my 29 Chevy, is there a trick to putting the bolts and nuts in to hold the headlight stantions? There is a blind, unreachable area where you have to put the nuts on the bolts. You can't get a hand or wrentch in this area. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Nope, no tricks. There are nut anchor clips that slide onto the frame rail underneath the radiator splash apron. With those in place the bolts that hold the headlight stanchions will go right in.

They're called captive nuts and you can get them from Restoration Supply among others. Be careful because they must have a deep enough throat to reach over the frame and to the holes for the headlight stanchions. On my car there are a total of eight of them if I remember correctly. Four for the headlight stanchions and 4 for the fenders, I think it was.

All the Best, Chip.
