Im installing the hood and front end on my 41 and opened the package of rubber hood bumpers I brought and see there are two larger ones and the rest are smaller. my question is were do the larger ones and smaller ones go? if any one has any advice let me know. I am working on the alignment now and want to get these on were ever they go. The fisher body book does little to show putting the car back together

update as I had no reply for this and I figured it out with photos in the service manual. some times you just have to look. the two larger ones go in the front and three smaller ones on each side.

I am sorry that no one did notice your post about your omix hood bumper.. Haha. Anyways, good job that you've figured it out with photos in the service manual.

I just put a set of 6 thicker pads on the fenders as Im trying to align the hood o the pass side does not have a 1 in plus gap compared to the drivers side. I have been putting this alignment off for over a year and am frustrated at the lack of movement in the hinges or my ignorance to the adjustments. LOL
