29SedanMan Grease Monkey Registered: 05/19/08 Posts: 7 Loc: AL	I was wanting to know what tires everyone was using on their 29's. I have the 20" disk wheel and know that originally Goodyear 4.50x20 was used. I have not had any luck locating that but notice 4.50 -4.75x20's and up. Thanks!

ChevySix Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 10/05/05 Posts: 88 Loc: Bellevue, WA.	The closest I found were Firestone at Coker (4.75-5.00x20"). I just got a set last week for my 29 disk wheel coupe. Not a lot to chose from in that size. Bill D. Bellevue WA. _________________________ Bill

JIM G Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 07/01/07 Posts: 55 Loc: Texas, USA	I also did the same 4:75/5:00 -20. I went with white side walls, don't forget to get new tubes and flaps. Firestone's from Coker Tire.

CuChiRVN Backyard Mechanic Registered: 08/19/05 Posts: 203 Loc: Norco, Ca	I bought BF Silverstons last month, from Performance Plus, Long Beach Ca. I did not buy Firestone only because, I am pretty sure Ford and Firstone were camping buddies back then. I suspect Ford would have made it hard on Firstone if Firstone tires were put on something Ford did not approve. There are several suppliers for tires, if you PM I will send you some web sites. Ed
