I'm in Australia putting a 59 Elcamino on the road. With the 348 motor. Are engine rebuild kits available in the States, are any parts from the small block interchangeable. Thanks for any help. Clyde

SHOW CARS in New Ulm Minnesota sells complete kits or pretty much anything else you will need for your rebuild, they have an on line catalog at http://www.dr409.com The only part that will fit that I can think of from a small block is the fuel pump push rod. You had sent me a private message and I forgot to get back to you sorry, Good Luck John

Got a price on the rebuild kit, very surprised. Thanks very much. Any way to tell if my engine is a 348 or 409 before pulling it down. Is there documentation saying if it came out with tricarb, four barrel. Thanks for the help. Clyde
