While looking thru the service manual I noticed that a 34 master should have a 935 B generator ,but mine has a 943J which is for trucks and standard model . What got me is it said the difference is the first the field circuits are grounded at the switch ,while the latter they are grounded to the frame . So if I use the 943J what is the correct way to wire it ? Ivan

So its basically a single wire unit ? The way it was installed when I got it there was a wire on both sides of the relay which would of grounded the output causing a dead short. Which is probably why the wire going to the brush inside burned in half . Ivan

Hey it still works even as crispy as the field coils looked ! I replaced the wire to the brush , and had to gently push against the brush to push it in with a screwdriver .Going to need to rebuild it . Ivan
