Hello, I need parts and information regarding the interchange possibilities of the cab of a 1929 truck and what engine years will bolt in with minimal adapting. I am looking at a truck that has had the cab stolen to build a hot rod and am not sure how good the engine will be. Does anyone have patterns for putting dual rear wheels on a 1929? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards, Alan

I think I have answered this before. Duals not available for the 29-30 trucks. It would need a complete rear axle of a later date. 29 were perfectly capable of hauling a 1.5 ton load with singles. If your going "hot rod" it you might be better off going to stoveboltcm chat site. The VCCA club promotes restoration back to it's original factory stock shape.

After market dual wheel and tandem conversions were available. Don't have a clue where you might find the parts today.
