62BillT Backyard Mechanic Registered: 08/30/07 Posts: 258 Loc: Moneta, VA	For those wondering, it is a GMC 9500 Extended Hood (Long Nose). It is an early to mid 70's model. I'm not sure what this one has but many trucks of this type had an 8V-71 Detroit Diesel, with a 13-Speed Road Ranger Trans.

They are serious about keeping the traffic flowing. It looked very impressive and I had to take the picture to show Petrine, our 1/2 ton Pick up from 31. She turned almost in love, but promised to stay at home an be a good girl after all.
