this car has a 3-on-the-tree with a 216,I am wondering what other motors will bolt on to this tranny ( a 235,I am assuming but anything else ?) , how much work would be invovled in going to a small block ? Thanks for any and all information !

The only 235 that is a simple bolt-in (no changing mounts or water pump) is a 1953-54.
