Mike, The topic was "31 fan belt" august 19, 2004. The best belt is the Dayco 24380. I was trying to have the belt remanufactured again without cogs prior to that discussion. The Dayco belt now is a cog and is still available as such. The fractional horsepower belts being sold are used on lawnmowers and other applications etc. http://vccachat.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=001057#000000 PS Larry Jackson several years ago wrote an article in G & D magazine on "Gaining Efficiency from the 1929-34 Water Pump" which is very informative. Does anyone know the issue of this article?

Is the '32 belt the same as the '31?

Thanks guys, I see red (NOS?) belts for sale on ebay sometimes, but I think I remember you guys saying the belt should be black; is that right? Any printing differences on the belts?
