What kind of clutch does it have? 1924 was last year for cone clutch and 25 first for disc plate clutch. Any photos of truck? Is it on a car or the 1 ton truck chassis? The title year is not reliable for year of vehicle since production was veritable and overlapped the calendar year. Title year is when it was sold! What is the vehicle serial number that is a plate on the dash?

The clutch may date this truck. As was pointed out, 24 is cone, 25 is flat disc.

I think your date for the engine is May, 30 1925.

Two valve covers = 1925, normally. Take a look under the truck and if it is a cone clutch you will see the flywheel and the cone clutch will be exposed. Flat clutch is inside the bell housing.

Your transmission will have 3 forward and 1 reverse gear. Shift pattern is standard "H".

Is the radiator shell lower edge(at top of core showing outside)under the Chevrolet emblem straight across (1923-24) or does dip down in the center (1925)?

Let's call this a 1925 and leave it at that.
