I would like to know what kind of trunk rack was used on the rear of a sedan. How/where did it mount? Was it an option? How will I know that I have the 'correct' one?

The information that I have shows no luggage carrier or add-on trunk available for 1933 or 1934 Standard models. I would say its safe to assume that they were not available (from Chevrolet) for the 1935 Standard either.

Chevgene is correct there was not an Chevrolet accessory rack available for a 35 Standard. In the accessory booklet there is a luggage carrier that fit under the front seat and allowed for leg room in the back seat. This was to allow for a couple of suit cases. I have only seen these in the booklet. I even advertized in the G& D at one time looking for one, no luck. If you are looking to find one for practical reasons, there are plenty of adaptable aftermarket racks available. Enjoy yuour car these are great driving - riding cars.
