I am having the front grill and surrounding chrome rechromed, however, the verticle chrome piece appears to be cast iron. The tabs that hold it in place are bent. Can these be straightened so that the piece can be used? Or, will it likely break.
The business that is doing the rechroming is concerned about trying to straighten the tabs. Any possibility of saving the piece? Thanks,
