I think that's a great idea! However,in order for my daughter to drive one of my chevies, she has to be at least 25 to satisfy the insurance company.I hope the younger generations will be able to enjoy the hobby as we do,but, the way the prices keep climbing on these collector cars,I feel there will be no way for our kids to afford them.Younger people are doing different things with their disposable income-if they have any, most are paying off MAJOR school loans.I see kids at car shows and meets all the time and the kids seem to enjoy themselves, but, unless they make a connection with a particlar vehicle,ie-an uncle's Corvette, they will look at car meets as just another museum trip.Unless the car is already in the family and may be handed down,I sincerely doubt a young person is going to say"Gee,I really like that '62 Corvette,I think I'll write a check out for $55,000.00 for it"-highly unlikely.Sorry to be a black cloud, but, this is my opinion of where the hobby is going.
