Not really - I think they made more emblems then Level Air cars.

They are pretty rare in my book.

What year(s) are they from?

Maybe it's a regional thing, but I've never seen one out this way on the east coast. I am well familiar with Level Air as an option, but never saw those emblems before. Where were they placed on the car?

Not absolutely sure, but I think on the 58s, the emblem was on a panel below the lower edge of the trunk and right next to the gas filler door.

I think the car that needs the emblems would be pretty rare. I had only seen one, a 58 wagon in a junkyard outside of Reading PA 20 years ago. I think the emblem woulld be the least of the problem to find trying to service parts would be a real task

They pop-up on Ebay every so often. The larger dealers all stocked an emblem but never sold them. They were located in an area that seldom got hit.The large one pictured went on the lower body panel on a 1958-59. There was a smaller one on the glove box door. The dealer that I worked at in 1958 sold about 1000 new cars a year. I would guess that we sold about 20 Air Suspension cars and they were sold at the beginning of the year. Due to the problems they backed off on selling them. I have never seen a 1959 with A.S. except in factory pictures.
When working they were a were OK The cars sat lower than a metal spring car and self leveled when loaded. The ride was about the same as a conventional suspension, perhaps a little flatter. The leveling valves (2 in the front and 1 in the rear) gave problems), other than that they held up well. After a year or two Chevrolet changed them back to coils at no charge to the owners.Required 4 coil springs and front shocks only. The compressor was removed and the plumbing left in the car. With a little tweeking they could have cured the problems. There are some ford products with rear wheel drive that use a very simular system today.
