I think the alternator (or regulator) has quit on my '97 k1500 5.7l...the ac delco guy in town says he lists four different ones...anyone know how I can id mine, so I can have him order the right one?..

I find it is always best to take the old unit with you so the numbers can be matched.

The parts man will know what numbers to look for.

Finally back in my cage.
