Thanks Gene! Can you suggest any literature to learn more on enhancing a 37 216? Or any year 216? How does the 40 timing gear change or improve valve timing? What about a different camshaft? Anyone else out there that has been there, done that?

Anyone that says Chevrolets always leaked oil is a person or mechanic that does not know how to repair an engine. Believe me when they were new and had an oil leak the owner would bring them back to the dealer and complain. We had very few oil leaks
