memory is not that great, but the thermostat I got from Gary was either a 120 or 140.

Your best bet to stop that leak is to remove the gear box, disassemble and replace that shaft. When you reassemble the box, clean the box thoroughly, use gas tank sealer on the ends of both shafts.

In the early 50's it was the procedure to trade cars about every two years. This corresponded with the model changes. 1958 came along and messed up that routine.

some one sayd to me in germany sayd he saw in the us . a 59 apache with a new frame from a s10 he thinks. can any body tell me wath frame i can use so i just put my box and my housing on it so it looks old but steering suspencion and axls are new .
