You could always shorten your legs. Seriously for a moment, the thinner seat back and the seat frame moved back 1" would give you 2", which should be a great improvement for leg room. Being a little guy I dont have that problem, very clos

Gidday fellas, Pete: No problems at all, I'm do'in a bit of head scratching at the moment so a little more won't kill me. Neil: regarding the less padding in the seat idea, Ray (1928isgreat) suggested this to me which came directly from his auto tr

The top of the front seat joins the centre posts with a curved piece of wood approx 50mm x 30mm. you will need a pattern as it also has a twist in it. Unfortunately the 28 tourer I'm restoring at the moment went to the trimmers 2 weeks ago. As for mo

grant, sorry i haven't got photos or access to the top section as the upholstery is fitted. As far as I can see there is a 25x20mm rough sawn piece of timber attached to the 2 vertical members at 125mm off seat frame but thats as far as I can see.

It's a light load... Class I. Manufactured trailer < 2,000 lbs loaded. Yes, I found a photo of one similar to the one that you're describing. I couldn't figure out what the long bar attaches to up front. But maybe it'll be obvious after I put
